An Associate Professor at the Batangas State University College of Medicine, she teaches Preventive Medicine and Research among other subjects. She is the current Assistant Director of the university’s Research Integrity and Assurance Unit. She is also the Chair for Community Engagement and Health Research Development in the College of Medicine. She worked as a Medical Officer in a district hospital and was also a staff of a local non-government organization before working in a private tertiary hospital during the pandemic. After exploring the different sectors of the healthcare system, she decided to pursue further studies in Public Health at the University of the Philippines. She has engaged in several research projects on Maternal and Child Health, COVID, and medical devices funded by national and international agencies. She has also served as a consultant to some internationally funded research and projects.
