Aïda Bangoura is a first-generation Canadian immigrant of Guinean heritage with a background in Health Sciences. As Manager of Social Accountability at the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada, she works to integrate equity, diversity, and inclusion into accreditation, policy, and institutional leadership. She holds a Diversity and Inclusion Service Management certification in ISO 30415 and is a Project Management Professional (PMP®), applying structured approaches to systemic change. Her experience includes leading projects that address healthcare disparities and strengthen access to medical education.
