Taylor lives in North Bay, Ontario with his family, and has a mixed clinical practice that includes emergency medicine, sport medicine, cannabinoid medicine, and family medicine locums. He is currently serving as the Chief of Emergency Medicine at the North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBHRC). Taylor is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at NOSM University, and an Assistant Professor in the department of Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa, where he currently serves as the Director of Global Health and as a co-director for the uOttawa-Guyana Family Medicine training program. Taylor serves on the Boards of the Ontario College of Family Physicians (OCFP) and the Children’s Aid Society of Nipissing & Parry Sound. He is on the Executive of the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians (CAEP) Anti-Colonialism and Anti-Racism committee. He is passionate about global health, health equity, and quality improvement.
