Meagan Slack (she/her) is a Paramedic and researcher working for Ornge as the Manager of Program Design, Evaluation & Academic Innovation.  She holds a Master’s of Health Professions Education from McMaster University.  She is passionate about advancing the role of paramedics in improving health equity and driving social accountability within the profession and its academic institutions.  Research and professional works involve paramedic selection,  recruitment/retention for rural and remote work locations, and examining ad hoc team concepts.  Meagan is a settler in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and proud member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
