Kim is an Associate Professor at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine University (NOSMU) and family physician.

She came to Northern Ontario in 2005 as a member of the Charter Class of NOSMU and stayed to complete her Family Medicine residency. Kim is actively engaged in medical education as the Clinical Curriculum and Academics Lead for Postgraduate Family Medicine at NOSMU. She is grateful for the opportunity to support family medicine residents in Thunder Bay as Site Director.

Recently Kim has had the privilege of being part of the Remote First Nations Family Medicine Residency team at NOSMU. As a current graduate student in the Master of Public Health Indigenous and Northern Health stream at Lakehead University, Kim looks forward to completing her practicum with the Arcand Centre team.  

While Kim grew up in Haliburton, Ontario, she has settled with her family in Thunder Bay and always looks forward spending time at their camp on Lake Superior.
