Emma Mensour is a first year medical student at NOSM University (2027) with an interest in social accountability and medical education. Before she began at NOSM U, she completed her undergraduate degree in Life Science with a specialization in Biomedical Discovery and then a Master’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences at Western University. She then worked as a research assistant for a Cardiologist where she explored her passions in mental health, cardiovascular health, and medical education. She looks forward to contributing to and learning from the research team at the Dr. Gilles Arcand Centre for Health Equity. She plans on practicing in Northern Ontario as a future physician.
